Terms of Service

The rules for using RV Tech Cheat Sheet and its free member accounts, in plain words where we can manage it.

1. Who we are and what you're agreeing to

RV Tech Cheat Sheet (rvtechcheatsheet.com, the "Site") is published by Wrenchable Software LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we", "us"). By using the Site, or by creating a member account, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Site. You must be at least 18 to create a member account.

2. What the Site is

The Site gives RV technicians free repair guides, notes, a manuals library, a part identifier, certification comparisons and, for members, a private place to keep certificates and training records. We may add, change or remove features at any time. Reading the Site needs no account.

A member account is an RV Tech Cheat Sheet account only. It is not a Wrenchable account and does not sign you in to any other app or service.

3. Your member account

• Pick a username that doesn't impersonate anyone or mislead people, and isn't offensive. We may change or reclaim a username that breaks this.
• Give a real email address you control; it is how we identify your account if you contact us.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at legal@wrenchable.io if you think someone else has got in.
• One account per person. Accounts can't be sold or transferred.

4. Your certificates and uploads

You keep all rights to the certificates and documents you upload. You give us only the permission we need to store them and show them back to you. They are private to your account; we don't publish them, share them with employers or schools, or use them for anything else.

Only upload documents that are yours, or that you have the right to keep. Don't upload anything unlawful, or anyone else's personal information without their permission. Storage is limited (currently 100 files of up to 10 MB each). Keep your own copies: this is a convenience, not an archive, and we don't guarantee that stored files will never be lost.

Storing a certificate here doesn't verify it. We don't check, endorse or vouch for any credential, and nothing on your account is a statement by us that you hold it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Site for anything unlawful;
• try to get into another member's account or files, or probe, scan or break the Site's security;
• scrape or bulk-download the Site or the manuals library, or get round its download limits;
• interfere with or overload the Site;
• create accounts automatically or in bulk, or create an account for someone else without their permission;
• resell or republish the Site's guides as your own.

6. The guides are information, not a guarantee

RV systems involve propane, 120-volt power, batteries, heavy slide-outs and other real hazards. Our guides are written by working technicians to help qualified people work faster, but they can be wrong, out of date, or not fit your unit. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions, the applicable codes and safe practice, and don't attempt work you aren't qualified for. You use the guides at your own risk.

7. Manuals and other people's material

Manuals in the library belong to their publishers and are collected from copies the publishers already make freely available. Using them is subject to whatever terms their publishers set. If something on the Site is yours and you want it removed, see Copyright & DMCA notices.

The Site's own guides, text, design and branding are ours. You may use them for your own work and share links to them; don't copy them wholesale onto another site.

8. Ending your account

You can stop using the Site at any time. To delete your member account and everything in it, email legal@wrenchable.io from the address on the account. We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these Terms or is used for fraud or abuse, and we may close member accounts altogether with reasonable notice by email. Sections that by their nature should survive (disclaimers, limits of liability, governing law) survive.

9. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND MEMBER ACCOUNTS ARE FREE AND ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT STORED FILES WILL BE PRESERVED.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SITE IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, PROPERTY DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY ARISING FROM USE OF THE GUIDES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Wrenchable Software LLC and its officers, employees and agents from any claim, damage, liability or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your uploads, or your violation of anyone else's rights.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. The date below shows the latest version. For material changes we will email members before they take effect; continuing to use the Site after that means you accept the new Terms.
